Week 51

Saw this on Quilting Arts TV show. Painted cotton batting. When dry it feels like heavy felt. I cut two balls at the same time and then fused to stabilizer. Then satin stitched. OK for wall hanging. Would not be good to wash it. Very easy and fun but kind of time consuming if you factor in the time waiting for the paint to dry.

Journal block 51

Appliqued without using fusible web, it is much easier to stitch when it is fused. Guess this is a what not to do journal block.

Week 50

The pattern was drawn on paper and then pieced from the back. Not as easy as I thought but fun.

Week 49

The word for this month is STAR. I fused lame onto micro suede and topstitched.

Word of the month Star. Batting on bottom, jersey on top.
