JB 25

Padded case for my laptop, I used tee shirt material for the lining. It didn't turn out like the picture in my mind, but it will do what I need it to and I remember now a phrase carpenters use, measure twice - cut once, in my case I should have measured twice and sewn once.

Week 23 - 2010

Celtic knots out of batiks.Started making a table runner and had too much fun. The quilt top measures about 60" x 48".
The name of the quilt will be "A naughty knot in the knotty baticks". The reason being, one of the celtic knots decided to be a bit rebellious. big grin
Duncan thought he would help me out by hiding the twisted knot.

Week 10-2010

Am currently working on banket/quilts to donate to the Linus Project. I made the following three with flannel from my stash. It is nice to be using up some of my stash. Making room for more purchases.

Pink horse flannel lined with creme colored flannel. Will tack or tie with brown ribbon. Not sure yet. It is approx 42"x70" so will need something to hold the fabrics in place. The brown ruffle is cotton broadcloth.

Lined flannel baby blankets. Apprx 34"x42"
